Overview
Object tracking extends detection into the temporal domain, associating detections across frames to maintain object identity over time. This enables trajectory analysis, behavior understanding, and persistent monitoring of moving objects.
We implement both Multi-Object Tracking (MOT) for tracking all objects of certain classes and Single-Object Tracking (SOT) for following a specific target. Our solutions handle challenges like occlusion, ID switches, fast motion, and varying frame rates.
Modern tracking combines detection with appearance features and motion models. We use architectures like ByteTrack, BoT-SORT, Deep OC-SORT, and transformer-based trackers, optimized for your specific scenario whether that's pedestrians in crowds, vehicles in traffic, or cells in microscopy.
Capabilities
What we can achieve with object tracking
Multi-Object Tracking
Simultaneously track dozens or hundreds of objects like pedestrians, vehicles, or animals while maintaining consistent IDs throughout the video.
Re-Identification
Re-identify objects that leave and re-enter the scene using appearance embeddings, essential for multi-camera tracking scenarios.
Trajectory Analysis
Extract motion trajectories and compute derived metrics like speed, direction, dwell time, and path patterns for behavior analysis.
Occlusion Handling
Maintain object identity through partial and full occlusions using motion prediction and appearance memory.
Long-Term Tracking
Track objects across extended videos or multiple camera views with robust re-identification and track management.
